Recoltarea are loc de patru ori pe an, de la arbori b\u0103tr\u00e2ni. Oolongurile din diferite recolte nu sunt amestecate \u00eentre ele, deoarece toate cele patru variet\u0103\u021bi, culese \u00een anotimpuri diferite, au gusturi \u0219i arome distincte.
